SD33 General Info

The SD33 is arguably the most popular engine found in MQ Patrols. The SD series engine was created in a joint venture with Chrysler in the 70’s, and was used in many vehicles including forklifts and boats. The version available in MQ Patrols is a 3.3 litre straight 6, fueled by mechanical injection.

The MQ featured the naturally aspirated version of the SD33. It produced 94 HP / 70 kW power @ 3600rpm (DIN) and 158 ft-lb / 215 Nm torque @ 1800rpm (DIN).

The MK also featured a turbo charged version of the SD33. It produced 108 HP / 81 kW power @ 4000rpm (DIN) and 188 ft-lb / 255 Nm torque @ 2000rpm (DIN).
